Our Story

George P. Roy, MD

George P. Roy has a interest in research and clinical neuropsychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, neurosurgery, internal medicine, and forensic psychiatry. His scholarly work includes studies on suicide risk biomarkers, mirror neuron dysfunction, autonomic disorders, and childhood influences on antisocial personality disorder.

He has presented his research at the Brain and Beyond ’25, Project Styx 2025, the Alte University International Multidisciplinary Conference in Medicine, and the Scientific Society Conference. He also serves as Research Coordinator at the Walter E. Dandy Neurosurgical Club and as a panel judge for the Aspiring Surgeons Network.

Marwan Jaber, MD

Marwan Jaber studies at the University of Georgia. Aspirations to become a neurosurgeon–scientist and a strong academic interest in neuroscience.

He actively contributes to the development of medical and neuroscience-focused communities and initiatives. His goals include pursuing a master’s degree and neurosurgical residency training, with a commitment to cultivating deep, rigorous knowledge while promoting broader accessibility to scientific learning.

As a Research Coordinator, he led the training of seven research teams, guiding them in the development of professional literature reviews. He instructed participants in the full research writing process.

Parvin Mozafari, MD

Ms. Parvin Mozafari is a researcher and academic coordinator affiliated with the University of Georgia. She serves as Research Lead under the supervision of Saleem Abdulrauf and contributes to several research initiatives, including the Walter Dandy Neurosurgical Club and the Research UG Club.

She is also involved with Medjection and The Operating Room Global as a research collaborator and mentor. In addition, she serves as an IMG Ambassador at Project IMG and participates in the Neuro Specialty Group of the International Journal of Clinical Research (IJCR). Her work includes peer review and manuscript evaluation in academic publishing.

Arjun Jay Prakash, MD

Dr. Arjun Jay Prakash is a physician with academic and clinical interests in Plastic Surgery and surgical sciences.

He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and has gained multidisciplinary clinical training at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar, with rotations in neurosurgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, trauma surgery, and emergency medicine.

He has also served as a Research Lead and Mentor with the Georgian International Medical Students Association, contributing to neurosurgical research initiatives and mentoring student research teams.

Dr. Prakash is an active contributor to academic literature, with publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and presentations at international medical conferences.

Sreethu Sreekantan Geetha, MD

Sreethu Sreekantan Geetha, affiliated with Tbilisi State Medical University, has a primary academic interest in Internal Medicine.

Sreethu has presented research at Tbilisi State Medical University and East European University in collaboration with the Student Scientific Society and Neurozeal – EEU Student Neuroscience Club. Sreethu is a co-author of a published paper titled “The Therapeutic Potential of Bacteriophage Therapy in Liver Cirrhosis” and is currently serving as the lead author of a manuscript under publication.Additionally, Sreethu has authored articles on antimicrobial resistance and the UAE education system, conducted sessions on abstract writing, and mentored students through their first research publications. Clinical experience includes a completed attachment in Emergency Medicine at Dubai Hospitals, with exposure to acute patient care.

Abhinav Sharma

Abhinav Sharma is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at SEU. With a strong foundation in medical sciences, Abhinav demonstrates a keen interest in integrating rigorous academic training with practical clinical application.

His academic pursuits are guided by a commitment to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and evidence-based medical practice, with a particular emphasis on delivering patient-centered and compassionate healthcare. Abhinav is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development, aiming to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of clinical practice and improved patient outcomes in modern healthcare settings.

Jumana Kanchwala

Jumana Kanchwala, affiliated at Tbilisi State Medical University in Tbilisi, Georgia,  possesses a strong interest in neurology and neurosciences and has developed substantial experience in research coordination, academic writing, and the organization of student-led initiatives.

Jumana thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to contributing to impactful projects. She actively seeks opportunities for professional growth and values learning alongside like-minded peers.

Lynn Abi Aad

Lynn Abi Aad is a medical student at Alte University, building upon her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Balamand, Lebanon. Her academic training is complemented by five years of service as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Lebanese Red Cross, an experience that strengthened her resilience, sense of responsibility, and commitment to patient-centered care. She holds particular academic and clinical interests in pediatrics, internal medicine, and family medicine. Lynn aspires to develop into a physician who integrates scientific knowledge, clinical competence, and empathy in the delivery of comprehensive patient care.
